Gloria Cordle is the Administrative
Director and founder for the Medical Alliance Association (MAA)
Safety Group 834 established in 1997.
Based primarily upon the unique
expertise of Ms. Cordle, this Group is exclusively
authorized by the State Compensation Insurance Fund (STATE FUND)
to monitor and promote Safety Programs for employers within
these specific business industry Groups, and amongst many
other benefits that are made available, to facilitate a

SCIF Workers Compensation Insurance Premium.
In affiliation with her Safety-Groups,
Ms. Cordle can offer particular expertise to the Medical
Industry, and also specializes in such areas as
Risk-Retention programs and Group Association programs.
Ms. Cordle takes “special care” to
honor all relationships that are already established between
her Safety Group Members and “their Insurance Brokers”. She
will assist the Members, and if applicable along with their
Brokers, whenever possible on various insurance programs and
up to date business needs that assist the business owner and
their manager for the medical industry.
After experiencing “first-hand” the
numerous emotional, practical, and societal complexities of
caring-for and raising her son who was born with Spina
Bifida, Ms. Cordle founded and became the Executive Director
of the Spina Bifida Association of California in 1990.
In this regard, she has also authored
two comprehensive published writings for personal health
management; the first is the Personal Medical Journal
which is designed for the community-at-large to maintain
pertinent personal medical records; and the second is the
Personal Caregiver Handbook, which is designed for the
individual with special needs that requires the assistance
of a caregiver for their personal care and continuum of
health.
Ms. Cordle also has extensive
experience in “national” conference leadership within the
medical industry. As an example, she is recognized in the
Santa Clara Valley educational and medical circles for her
broad understanding of the needs of both the individual,
their family, and, the professional. Additionally, she has
also chaired programs that have assisted in the
establishment of educational programs, and, the
“mainstreaming” of disabled children to local neighborhood
schools.
Rounding-out her capabilities, Ms.
Cordle also acts as an independent private consultant and a
public speaker pertaining to issues related to Spina Bifida,
general disabilities and rehabilitation, and special
products/resources/services. Accordingly, she can provide an
“assessment of needs” and “in-service presentations”
regarding the disabled community to medical and academic
professionals, to families, and/or to individuals.
